New project for NGOs!

With great pleasure, we announce the launch of the project “NGO in Action! Development of the Non-Governmental Sector in the Area of Public Services and Sustainable Local Development.”

🟢 Project Implementers:
🔹 West Pomeranian Folk University – Foundation
🔹 Association for Socio-Professional Education ESPRIT
🔹 Polish Folk Universities – Folk University in Radawnica

Target Group:
✔ Members of non-governmental organizations
✔ NGO employees (according to the Labor Code definition)
✔ NGO volunteers

We invite 400 representatives of non-governmental organizations from the following voivodeships:
✅ West Pomeranian – 150 places
✅ Greater Poland – 150 places
✅ Lubusz – 100 places

Participation Criteria:
✅ The participant must be a member, employee, or volunteer of an NGO
✅ The NGO must be registered in one of the three voivodeships covered by the project
✅ Willingness to attend at least 3 training sessions (for training participants)
✅ Willingness to attend at least 2 workshops (for NGO managers)

The aim of the project is to strengthen the institutional capacity of NGOs by developing the competencies of their representatives and increasing the quality and accessibility of public services and local sustainable development activities.

What do we offer participants?

🎓 Trainings and workshops – topics include, among others:
🔹 Legal aspects of NGO operations
🔹 Team and volunteer management
🔹 Deinstitutionalization of social services
🔹 Cooperation between NGOs and public administration
🔹 Budget planning and NGO finances
🔹 Marketing and promotion of organizational services

💡 Individual support:
🔹 Development vouchers for 100 NGOs to improve their services and personnel
🔹 Expert consulting (e.g. accounting, legal, fundraising)
🔹 Study visits to well-functioning NGOs

As part of the project, we will develop the “NGO Development Vademecum” – a comprehensive tool that will help organizations with:
✔ Self-assessment of their activities
✔ Development of public service offerings
✔ Increasing accessibility and professionalization of operations

🔹 Pilot implementation of the Vademecum in 20 organizations
🔹 Expert support for tool testers
🔹 Available online – every NGO will be able to use it!

📌 Project finale – a summary conference in 2026 with the participation of project members, experts, and representatives of local governments!

📈 Project Results:
✅ 400 NGO representatives supported
✅ 360 participants will improve their competencies
✅ 100 NGOs will benefit from consulting and development support
✅ Creation of the NGO Development Vademecum – a comprehensive tool for organizations
✅ Study visits and the implementation of good practices in NGOs

The project is co-financed by the European Funds.

Total eligible project expenditures: 1,805,448.00 PLN
Amount of EU funding: 1,489,855.69 PLN
