The West Pomeranian Folk University Foundation in Mierzyn and the Municipality of Dobra cordially invite you to the Open-Air Folk Music Festival “West Pomeranian Folkowisko”, which will take place on September 8, 2024 at the Mierzynianka Sports and Recreation Area, ul. Nasienna 20 in Mierzyn. We begin at 11:00 a.m..

The festival will feature performances by folk dance and vocal groups – about 15 ensembles in total, including the Song and Dance Ensemble “Szczecinianie” and the Folk Group “Krąg” from the Szczecin Region. The aim of the festival is to promote folk culture by showcasing the values expressed in traditional folk dances and songs.

We warmly invite everyone – those who love folklore and those who would like to discover this part of our national heritage.

The festival will be officially opened by Magdalena Zagrodzka, Mayor of Dobra Municipality, and hosted by Dariusz Baranik.
