
At the end of August, we received funding under the National Recovery Plan (KPO) for the project “FolkMierzyn: Tradition Meets the Future.”
Description: The project strengthens the resilience of the cultural sector through a hybrid format (onsite + online), digital workshops, and the digitisation of resources as well as the “Voices of Tradition” podcasts—promoting sustainable practices and improving cultural accessibility.
Scope of activities: the West Pomeranian Folkowisko festival (with an online livestream), Green Stage (eco-workshops, recycled-art projects), 3 digital courses, digitisation, and podcasts.
Location: Mierzyn, Dobra Commune (near Szczecin), West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
Schedule: 01/08/2025–31/12/2025; festival by 30/09/2025, courses and digitisation by 31/12/2025 📅.
Indicators: incl. 1 cultural event, 5 educational/digital activities, 1 pro-ecological activity, 3 digital forms of access, 36 training participants 👥.
Eligible costs: PLN 192,560.00; support: PLN 154,048.00 (80% share).
